Tea Anyone?!?!

More than 230 years ago in the waters of Boston Harbor, a defining moment in the history of what would be America occurred.  It came as what would be known as the Boston Tea Party, as an exhibition that a free people would not bow to a Monarch, would not be taxed grievously at the whims of the existing government.  These were free people, demonstrating as strongly as they could.  They were displeased with the events unfolding, which I think we all can relate to.  In the words of Joshua Wyeth (With), “We were merry…  I never worked harder in my life.”

Thomas Paine said, “These are the times that try men’s souls.”  Which of us haven’t felt that?  But united we can be merry and work, side by side with one another in an effort to demonstrate once again, as before.

It’s easy to see the damage that recent decisions in Washington are doing to our freedoms and to our economy. But it’s not just Washington. And it’s not just the Democrats. We believe that the best way to fix Washington is to start closer to home and present the case to Utahns that our Elected leaders are supporting much of the same big-government socialism that is constantly creeping in. We believe that many Utahns support the Republican leadership by default and don’t pay much attention to politics.  I think most Utahns want a return to the “Ancient Principles” Jefferson clung to when penning our Declaration of Independence and were the foundation of our Constitution.   It’s our mission to awaken our neighbors and start within our own state first. Then…we’ll be united and ready to take our Tea to Washington.

To all who want to be Merry, even in the face of hard and displeasing times, and are willing to work harder than you ever have in your life, join us.
